About us...............

Lyford Classic Services was established in 2003 after having had many years of experience in the trade with A7/A10s etc. We are a husband and wife team (Mike & Pat). The business is named after Pat’s family in an attempt to keep the Lyford name alive.

Pat is the one who sits in a comfortable office chair answering the telephone, chatting to the customers and taking their orders, whilst Mike is slaving away out in the workshop constantly building A7s/A10s/RGSs etc (some of which you can see in our pics) to be enjoyed for many more years to come, and also picking your orders. He has accrued a vast hands-on knowledge of the BSA bikes over many decades and to our regular customers he is a mine of information.
When we initially started LCS we specialised in pre-unit A group twins (A7/A10/RGS) but we are now expanding our stock to include the B group models & Gold Star parts. This was prompted by the fact that most of the cycle parts are common to both the A & B groups and so many of our customers own both models.

We offer a friendly & reliable service with a pick-rate second to none so you can expect your order to be fulfilled (except in unavoidable circumstances). Orders are normally despatched the next working day, sometimes the same day depending on the time of day the order is taken (payment by credit/debit cards only), and your payment will only be processed when your order has been picked and is ready to go.

Our catalogue (FREE in the UK only) lists over 1800 items including CNC machined stainless steel & solid billet alloy parts some of which are made exclusively to us and to our own design. We also stock parts books & service manuals, chain, tools, transfers, cables, nuts & bolts along with engine/gearbox/clutch & cycle parts and even the odds & ends that you need to finish off your bike. Even if you cannot see what you want in our catalogue, please do not hesitate to give us a ring or email us and ask about availability.

Mike has a vast amount of second hand bits and pieces which are too many to itemise, so if you want to find out if he has what you are looking for, either email or phone with any queries.
